Luthia E. (LaFoe) Sargent, age 85, of Chestnut Hill Road in Farmington, died July 19, 2019, at home, with her loving family.

Born March 12, 1934 in Bristol, NH, the daughter of Howard E. LaFoe and Elizabeth R. (Collins) LaFoe Boudreau, she resided in Farmington for most of her life, a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1950.

Luthia was a skilled homemaker, who greatly loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, teaching them the values of life.  She was known by her kindness in every deed and gift giving freely from the heart.  She was strong and faithful in her commitments and her morals.  She had a love that was "God" like and gave all she had to give of herself, unconditionally.  God blessed her with a full life of love, joy and happily ever after.  She leaves us with an expression that she used often as inspiration "Look Up, Not Down", which we will reflect on in our remembrance of her love.

Widow of the late Raymond J. Sargent, Jr., who died in 2005, she is survived by 3 sons: Bradford and wife Cheryl Sargent of Center Strafford, Richard and wife Roberta Sargent of Pittsfield, James Sargent and partner Jen, 2 daughters: Carol Sargent of Farmington, Catherine and husband Robert Plante of Farmington, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, also her brother Richard LaFoe of Zephyrhills, FL.
