Lucille Anne Lineham

Sanbornville, NH:

Although hearts are broken, many memories will live on.

In the early morning of January 15, 2022, Lucille peacefully passed away at home with her family at her side. A fitting end to a mother who cherished her family more than anything in her life.

Lucille was born on September 27, 1935, daughter to Almarinda Renzi DelDeo and Franchesco DelDeo in Providence Rhode Island.

While in high school, she met George Lineham. They married in 1953.

Lucy quickly became the "rock" of the family, as she had 3 boys, all in diapers! In order is Stephen Edward, John Robert, and David Allen.

In 1960, they moved to Sanbornville NH.

Starting a new life and a new business venture of Lakes Region Septic.

Lucy gained the respect from everyone who knew her. A woman truck driver in the 60's!

She was not one to mince words, and you always knew where she stood on any issue. And vice versa!

Her home was always open, especially if anyone knew that she was cooking Italian.

Her eggplant, meatballs and gravy were always a treat.

Everyone who passed through her door was treated the same. The boys teenage friends would call her "MA" and eventually Gram to her grandchildren.

Lucy was an avid Red Sox fan, and actually went to the 67 World Series. She has a Red Sox cap with her now!

She and her good friend Nancy loved their shopping sprees to Boston. She also enjoyed bowling nights with her cronies. There are a lot of stories of each of these that always bring laughter.

She also loved sunbathing in St. Thomas, where they lived part time for several years.

She also enjoyed her Friday luncheons at the Pub with her ladies!

She is a devout catholic and attended church every Sunday. Her rosary beads are with her now also.

She is survived by her sons and their wives,  Stephen Edward, John Robert and Kimberly Lineham, and David Alan and wife Kay Lineham.

She is predeceased  by George Edward Lineham.

She has four grandchildren. Stevie Leigh Lineham of Illinois. David Edward Lineham of Dover, Morgan Datson Riley of Barrington and Haley DelDeo Souther of Mirror Lake.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 28, 2022 at 11am at St. Anthony's Church in Sanbornville, NH with Fr. Patrick Gilbert, pastor, as celebrant, followed by a luncheon downstairs.

Interment will be in the spring at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville.
