Lucienne Constance (Bernard) Coutmanes, "Connie", age 92, of Farmington, died Thursday, Dec. 8th, 2011 at Hyder House Family Hospice Home after a long and happy life.
Connie was born on Oct 29, 1919, in Manchester, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Casavant) Bernard. Before living in Farmington NH she was a long time resident of Manchester and was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Farmington.
She retired, after 26 years of employment in 1986, from Jewell Electrical Instruments where she was fondly known as "Connie Payroll".
Connie was a proud 1940 graduate of the New Hampshire School of Accounting & Finance.
She was predeceased by her son, Walter Charles McGuigan, her two brothers Lawrence Bernard and Donald Bernard and her sister, Irene (Bernard) Gagnon.
She is survived by her four grandchildren, David McGuigan and his wife Heidi of Farmington, Kathy-Ann Wolfer and fiancé Kirk of Bath NY, Bob McGuigan and girlfriend Julie of Hampton, and Amy Brown and her husband Ronald of Farmington; her seven great grandchildren, Corey and Matthew McGuigan of Farmington ; Derek, Christopher and Timothy Wolfer of Bath NY; and Keelan and Megan Brown of Farmington; her niece June Durant of Falmouth Massachusetts, and nephews Donald Bernard of Hudson and Michael Bernard of Manchester.
There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Peter's Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Fr. Daniel J. Sinibaldi, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
