Lorena Sandstrom, age 75, formerly of Middleton, died March 29, 2014 at her daughter's home in Lebanon, Maine, where she most recently resided.

She was born August 22, 1938 in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of Arnold and Idella (Curtis) Peary.

Lorena had been employed at the former Clarostat in Dover and more recently worked at Cumberland Farms in Farmington, NH.

She enjoyed cross stitching, knitting and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Widow of the late Maynard W. Sandstrom, she is survived by 6 children: Karen and husband Ralph Barber, Sonia Sandstrom, Sandra and husband Jim Corson, Stewart Sandstrom, Stacie and husband Leroy Tripp, Jr. and Kristine and husband Jeff Rohloff, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, her "best mother in the whole wide world" Idella Peary, a brother: Nathan and wife Sherry Peary, 2 sisters: Nadine Peary,  Nancy and husband Jerry Despres, also several nieces, nephews, her cat "Troubles" and former son in law: Lee Thibodeau.

As per her request, there will be no services.
