East Wakefield, NH

Lois I. Ring, age 88, former longtime resident of East Wakefield, NH, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024, at Mountain View Community, where she most recently resided.

Born on June 17, 1935 in Lynn, NH, her parents were James & Naida Milburn, she had a sister Marilyn & brother Richard.  Lois was a graduate of Lynn English High School.  She married Edward A. Ring on January 15, 1955, they raised their 2 children Kevin & Patti in Wakefield, MA.  In 1983, they moved to Wakefield, NH, where they opened Ring's Building Supplies & Lois' Sub Shop at the corner of Route 153 & 110.

Lois always had a great sense of humor, that would make her friends and customers smile!  She loved to ride motorcycles and snowmobiles.  They named her "Snowdrift", because she always seemed to find a way to get her snowmobile stuck in a snow bank.  In her spare time, she enjoyed painting ceramics, she was particularly talented in painting details such as "eyes".  Everything that she did, she would do with a smile!  Lois had a great love for animals, her last dog "Suzy" was a Lhaso Apso.  Lois & Edward went on several vacations over the years, their favorite place to go was Aruba.  Lois made the best Chocolate Chip cookies and just to "get her going", they were called "Sinkers"!

Lois was predeceased by her husband Edward A. Ring, her parents James & Naida Milburn, her mother & father in law: Marion & G. Elmer Ring, her sister & brother in law: Marilyn & Lorne Wheeler, brother Richard Milburn, brother in law: Daniel & wife Debbie Ring and sister in law Eleanor & husband Lloyd Lawrence.

She leaves behind her son Kevin Ring, her daughter Patti & husband Cricket Rauschnot, 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, also several Nieces and Nephews.

Her family extends a "Heartfelt Thanks" to the Staff of Mountain View Community for all their love and support during her last years.
