Linden C. Brownell, Sr., age 76, of Spring Street in Farmington, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born January 3, 1941 in Wolfeboro, a son of Harold P. Brownell and Evelyn R. (Banfill) Valley, he was raised in Wolfeboro and Water Village, lived in Twin Mountain, and resided in Farmington for over 40 years.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with SUR Construction and also had worked for Midway Excavators.
Linden loved hunting, fishing, enjoyed snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, camping and playing cards, also an avid NASCAR fan. He could fix anything and make it better.
A former member of the Elks Club in Rochester and Twin Mountain Snowmobiling Club.
Survived by his wife of 36 years: Judy (Sullivan) Brownell, and 4 children: Linden C. Brownell, Jr. and wife Linda of Rochester, Lee C. Brownell and wife Heather of Whitefield, Lisa C. Savage and husband Keith of Goffstown, Jeff S. Brownell and wife Heather of Alton, 10 grandchildren: Jessica, Megan, Courtney, Cody, Jake, Kelsey, Taylor, Taren, Wyatt and Kasey, 3 great grandchildren: Mystic, Logan and Morgan, 2 brothers: Harold L. Brownell of Rochester, Ralph Brownell and wife Jane of Water Village, also many cousins, several nieces, nephews and 1 aunt. Predeceased by a brother Keith Brownell and a sister Patty Seale.
