Linda M. Johnson (Staples), age 65, of Errol, NH, died suddenly, November 6, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
She was born September 14, 1949 in Concord, NH the daughter of Erma Weeks and Clarence Staples.
Linda worked as a homemaker, in local shoe factories and practiced nursing until her retirement.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, crafts, traveling in the motorhome and searching for hidden treasures.
Survived by her husband James Johnson, daughter Sherry and husband Robert States, son Steven and wife Sherry Wells, and daughter Melinda Kuchman, all of Rochester, a stepson John H. and wife Jackie Johnson of Milton, a stepdaughter Michelle and husband John Cormier of Farmington, 3 sisters: Nancy and Husband Robert Goodwin, Ann and husband Merrrick Lane, Mary and husband Ray Cook, also several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Linda will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014 at 6:00pm at Nute Ridge Bible Chapel, 100 Nute's Road in Milton, NH, a time of reception will follow in the lower church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241. Cremation service provided by Peaslee Funeral Home, Farmington, NH.
