Linda Lee Cormier age 76, formerly of New Durham, NH, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023 at Advent Health Hospital in Tarpon Springs, FL, surrounded by family.
Born July 5, 1946, in Dover, NH, she was the only daughter of Anthony L. Brooks and Ruth A. (Badger) Morris.
Linda grew up in the Dover area and attended Dover Schools. She traveled extensively as a military spouse with her former husband and their children living in places such as Okinawa, Spain, New York, and Texas. After divorcing, she settled back in NH near her family. She worked at C&J Limousine and as a bartender at the Rochester Country Club where she met her beloved second husband, Cliff. Linda retired as a Claims Processor for Liberty Mutual.
Linda enjoyed entertaining her many friends and family and hosting parties at the house she and her husband designed in New Durham. She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
Throughout her life she loved her many dogs, each one holding a special place in her heart.
Linda is survived by her children: Kimberly Cordray of Holiday, FL, Richard Siede of Rollinsford, NH, Robert Siede and wife Deirdre of Newington, NH, Shawn Siede and wife Debra of St. Petersburg, FL, and Kristina Cormier of Davie, FL, stepchildren: Douglas Cormier and wife Aimee of Merrimack, NH, Jamie Cormier and wife Wendi of Rochester, NH, Jennifer Cormier and wife Michelle of Leominster, MA, and step daughter in law Shelby Cormier of Eliot, Maine. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jessica, Nisha, Justin, Shawn, Nick, Jenna, Anthony, Katelyn, Jake, and Eva as well as step-grandchildren, cousins, and other extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifford J. Cormier, Jr, stepson Peter Cormier, and daughter-in-law Jeana Siede.
