Linda Jeanne (Barrett) Wells, age 69, of Dick Dame Lane in Farmington, died suddenly at home on August 13, 2014.

Born August 1, 1945 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Herbert and Lorraine (LeClair) Barrett, she had resided in Farmington, NH for over forty years.

Prior to retirement, she had worked as an Administrative Assistant with Community Partners.

Linda loved to go to yard sales, she enjoyed crafts, gardening and especially camping. An avid New York Yankees fan, her cat was named "Jeter".

Survived by her husband Clyde D. Wells, her son: John W. Goodwin, Jr. and wife Donna, her daughter: Michelle and husband John Cormier, 9 grandchildren: Heather, Amanda, Nichole, PJ, Tiffany, Tanya, Devon, Dakota and Megan, 2 step-daughters and 1 step-son, her brother: Herbert Barrett, several great grandchildren, and several dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her daughter: Kimberly Dion and a brother Michael Barrett.

Calling hours are Sunday from 2-4 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A time of reception will follow at her home at 96 Dick Dame Lane.
