Lidia A. Carr, age 85, of Alton, died quietly at home on August 10, 2021.

Born June 11, 1936 and raised in Naples, Italy, the daughter of Salvatore and Gildia Aracri, until she met the love of her life Steven, while he was stationed there with the United States Army.

She and Steven resided in Alton, NH since 1967.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a Toll Collector for the NHDOT.

Lidia was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Daughter's of Italy.  She was a volunteer who delivered Thanksgiving meals for seniors and those in need. She had many friends and loved playing BINGO.

Survived by her husband of 58 years: Steven D. Carr, son: Donard & wife Andrea Carr of Colorado, daughter: Stefania & husband Nate Webster of Florida, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother: Guido Aracri of Italy, many nieces & nephews, also her brother & sister in law's:  Louis & Adrian Carr, Sylvia & Richard White.  Predeceased by her son Tony Carr and her in law's: Donard & Hazel Carr.

There are no services planned at this time, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
