Leola Blackwood-O'Connor (age 91)







On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, Leola Blackwood-O'Connor of East Wakefield, NH passed away after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She was a long time resident of East Wakefield and over the years had been active in numerous groups including the Eastern Star, Grange, Wakefield and Wolfeboro seniors. She is survived by two sons: John and Linda Blackwood of East Wakefield, Bill and Deborah Blackwood of Haymarket, Virginia, a brother,a sister, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all that knew her.



Relatives and friends may call at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville (Wakefield), NH on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 10am-12Noon with a funeral sservice at 12Noon with Rev. John Babson, officiating. Internment will be in the spring at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Leola Blackwood-O'Connor.
