Leo Arthur Donahue, age 62, of Spruce Terrace in Alton, died April 14, 2013 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.



Born October 31, 1950 in Brockton, MA, the son of William and Evelyn (Mattson) Donahue, he resided in Whitman, MA for many years and lived in Alton, NH since 1987.



Leo was an exceptional Electrician, he could fix anything. He had owned and operated Donahue Electric in Whitman, MA for many years and was retired from Bald Peak Colony Club in Moultonboro, NH.



Leo and his wife of almost 43 years Janet Lee (Callaghan), married at a young age, the first and only love for each of them.



He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing gin rummy with his wife. He was very proud of his Irish heritage.



"Dad loved his family first and foremost, he was a friend to all who met him and was always there to help anyone out."



Survived by his wife Janet and their 4 children: Douglas and wife Heather Donahue, Jamie Donahue, Jessica Donahue Perkins and husband Lloyd Perkins and Leo Donahue, Jr., a brother Edward Donahue, 8 grandchildren: Emily and Erin Donahue, Breanna and Caleb Donahue, Jacob Donahue, Kylee and Ryan Perkins and Megan Donahue, also many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog "Tiffy". He was predeceased by 5 siblings.



Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8 pm at Peaslee Alton Funeral Home, 12 School Street, Alton, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Katharine Drexel Church 40 Hidden Springs Road (Route 28N) in Alton, NH with Fr. Robert F.
