Lela Rosetta (Richardson) Kelly, born September 4, 1933, in Wade, Maine passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH.
Predeceased by Lela are her parents, Allen and Celia Richardson, siblings, Walter Richardson, Edith Richardson, Glenna Carmichael, Christopher Richardson, Abner Richardson, Elwin (Chum) Richardson, Pauline Bealieu, Isaac (Ike) Richardson, Mary Baker, Cleveland (Cleve) Richardson. Also included, husbands William Baker and Lewis (Scoopy) Bickford, Son-in-law Donald Wolcott and Daughter-in-law Debra Baker.
She is survived by her sister, Ethel Doody of GA, seven children; Deborah Wolcott of Lebanon, ME, Daniel Baker and wife Toni of Lebanon, ME, Rodney Baker and wife Donna of Weston, ME, Wendy Neal and husband Thomas of Rochester, NH, Kenneth Baker and wife Violet of Rochester, NH, Celia Maurice and husband Dennis of Rochester, NH, Allen Baker and wife Jeanne of Wakefield, NH. Seventeen grandchildren; Wendy Gowen of South Berwick, ME, Troy Wolcott of Jamestown, PA, Nicole Moylan of Lebanon, ME, Jessie Sharp of Barnstead, NH, Renee Baker of Jessup, GA, Michelle Baker of Portsmouth, NH, Garret Baker of Lebanon, ME, Angela Zakupowsky of Jessup, GA, Robert Neal of ME, Gregory Neal of Ossipee, NH, Courtney Baker of Rochester, NH, Timothy Townsend of Milton, NH, Jeffrey Townsend of Rochester, NH, Jason Baker of Berwick, ME, Rachel Baker of Milton, NH, Amanda Willette Ceide of MA, Michael Willette of Dover, NH.
Lela had 35 great grandchildren, 24 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Lela worked in the fields of Northern Maine picking potatoes as well as in the service and hospitality industry including Frisbie Memorial Hospital, and a Mary Kay Consultant. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her father and siblings. She was a member of the Red Hat Society as well as enjoyed going to the South Berwick and Rochester Community Centers for social time.
Lela was a very vibrant person who loved life, enjoyed a good laugh, and loved her family very much.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 11:00am with a calling hour prior from 10:00am to 11:00am, at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
