Leah shared her life with her husband, Chip (Charles) Wells and would've celebrated their 20th Anniversary this coming July 3rd. Leah's deep affection extended towards her pets, whom she considered her children. Their lives will forever be changed by her absence.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: brother Derek Downs and his wife Jennifer of Rochester, NH: Sister Carolyn (Downs) Francis and her husband Jeff of Waterboro, Maine: brother Chris Downs and his wife Jennifer of Wakefield, NH. She is also survived by her loving Aunt Pat of Dover, NH, her Uncle Rene & wife Lynn Pelletier.
Her memory lives on through many nieces and nephews: Michael & Matthew Famiglietti, Neal & Devin Downs, Kyle Brown, Isabelle, Autumn & Alexis Downs and Kilee Francis. She also leaves behind her great-nephew Cameron Famiglietti and many cousins who will miss her dearly.
Leah was predeceased by both her parents, Nancy Pelletier & Herbert Downs Jr. as well as all of her grandparents.
A passionate supporter of New England sports teams, Leah was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and Red Sox. One of her favorite things to do was to team up with her sister and together they would torment their brother Derek who is an avid Yankees fan. Those times will be greatly missed.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Milton Fire, Rescue and Police Departments for taking great care of Leah and being comforting to her husband on that day.
Thank you to Peaslee Funeral Home in Farmington, NH for taking care of Leah with care and grace.
