Lawrence C. "Larry" Cunningham, age 81, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, September 10, 2022 at Rochester Manor.

Born October 11, 1940 in Newport, NH, son of John & Edna (Bellinger) Cunningham, he was raised in Claremont, NH, and resided in Farmington, NH for 40 years.

A 20 year Veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Vietnam War.  After retiring from the military, he worked for the United States Postal Service at the Portsmouth Post Office.

Larry was a collector of knives and swords.

A member of the American Legion in Rochester and a member of Le Club Victoire in Rochester.

Survived by his 3 children:  Tom & wife Martha Cunningham, Allen & wife Sherlyn Cunningham & Joyce Cunningham, 5 grandchildren: Brandon, Zachary, Kylie, Janelle & Jocelyn, 2 sisters: Helen Gelinas & Ruth Foss, 2 brothers: Henry Cunningham, Harvey & wife Ardell Cunningham, 2 half sisters: Carol Woodman & Janet Stevens, 3 step sisters: Charlene Desjardin, Virginia Davis & Claire Willett, also numerous nieces & nephews.  Predeceased by 3 brothers:  John, Robert  & James, half brother William Cunningham & step brother Joseph Willett.

His Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington with military honors by the USArmy.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
