Lawrence N. LaCroix, age 87, died May 3, 2023 at the Rochester Manor, where he most recently resided.

Born December 19, 1935 in Berlin, NH, a son of Alphonse & Alfredina (Gilbert) LaCroix, he grew up in Lancaster, NH.

He served with the United States Army Reserve.

A retired businessman, he had owned and operated a Dunkin Donuts in Presque Isle, Maine for 12 years, also a Horticulturist, he had owned and operated the former Rochester Gardens in Rochester, NH.

Lawrence was a National 4-H Champion with baby beef cattle, and gave one of his calves to President Eisenhower.

Widower of the late Barbara Jane (Fuhrmann) LaCroix, he is survived by their 2 sons: Scott M. LaCroix of Savannah, Georgia and Timothy J. LaCroix of Marshfield, Massachusetts, a grandson Edward E. "Zeke" LaCroix, a brother Laurier LaCroix, also several Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by a son Thomas LaCroix, 2 sisters: Denise Libby & Delores Fournier, and 2 brothers: Leo V. LaCroix & Leon J. LaCroix.
