Larry I. Sanford, Sr., age 74, of Rochester, died on September 13, 2020, at the Rochester Manor, where he most recently resided.

Born August 12, 1946 in Laconia, NH, son of Leslie M. Sanford and Blanche E. (Bickford) Sanford, he grew up in Gonic, NH and resided in Rochester and Somersworth for years.

Larry had previously enjoyed camping and fishing, he was a diehard New England sports fan.

Survived by his son Larry I. Sanford, Jr. and wife Ashley M. Sanford, his daughter Amber Lynn Goldberg and husband Scott Goldberg, 4 grandchildren: Aiden, Zacoby, Brielle and Zevin, a brother Eugene, 2 sisters: Carlene and Sandra, niece April Sanford, nephew Glenn Sanford and wife Heidi,  great niece Katy, 2 great nephews: Robert and Daniel.  Predeceased by brother Leonard Sanford and sister in law Donna Sanford.
