Kenneth Hall Wilson, Sr., age 85, of Brookfield, NH, died peacefully on March 9, 2024 at Portsmouth Hospital.

Born October 16, 1938 in Brookfield, NH, son of Daniel H. & Florence (Drew) Wilson, he was a graduate of Nute High School in Milton, NH, Class of 1956.  Kenny served with the United States Army from 1960 to 1964, he then returned to Brookfield to be with his best friend, love of his life Donnalee (Drew) Wilson.

He was employed with Spaulding Composites, until his retirement.

Ken, Wilbur, Papa, as many, over the years, have called him, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, raising animals, gardening, going to local fairs, his Dunkin Donut coffee club, especially spending time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed a good chat, talking to everyone, passing on his knowledge with stories of the past, lately his stories were about afternoons watching cartoons, playing trucks and looking for the moon with his great grandchildren, always bringing a big smile to his face.

Survived by his daughter Cynthia & husband Scott Nolen, grandson Daniel & wife Jordan Brooks, son Kenneth H. Wilson, Jr. & wife Kelly Wilson, grandchildren: Sam, Ashley, Tristan & Colby and their spouses, 10 great grandchildren, sister Marlene Butler, brother in-law Glen Eckert, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews, whom he loved spending time with.  Predeceased by his wife Donnalee, sister Lorraine Eckert and brothers: Daniel Wilson & Lester Wilson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:00pm  at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH with Rev. David Maleham, officiating and military honors by the United States Army.  If desired, memorial donations may be made in his memory to: Wakefield Heritage Commission, 2 High Street, Sanbornville, NH 03872.
