Karen Jeannette Thurston, age 51 of Scribner Road in Northfield, died unexpectedly August 30, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcook Medical Center.

Born August 30, 1966 in Rochester, NH the daughter of Louis W. Thurston and Prudence J. (Blaisdell) Thurston. Karen has resided in Northfield for 3 years coming from this area.

She loved working for the Salvation Army. Karen enjoyed her baby dolls, big jewelry and dogs.

Survived by her father Louis Thurston and her step mother Susie, siblings: Mark Thurston, Chet Simpson, Kim Villanueva and Kelly Higinson, beloved grandmother: Dorothy Von Fricken and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her mother Prudence and her sister Kris J. Tedeman. Karen will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

There will be no services at this time, interment will be at the Cold Springs Cemetery in East Rochester in Spring of 2018. Cremation service by Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street Farmington.
