Karen Jean Jenkins, age 58, of Province Lake Road in East Wakefield, died February 20, 2020 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover.

Born June 7, 1961 in South Weymouth, MA, the daughter of William G. and Delores A. (Schwindt) Gilligan, she was raised in Sidney, Montana, a graduate of Sidney High School, Class of 1979.  She resided in Plattsburgh, New York, lived in Union, NH and resided in East Wakefield, NH for about ten years.

She was employed at Continental Thermal Pool in Somersworth.

Karen enjoyed watching television, especially sports, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and the news.  She also loved walking her dogs.

Survived by her husband Donald R. Jenkins, 2 sons: John K. Jenkins and Franklin W. Jenkins, her mother Delores Gilligan, 3 brothers: William D. Gilligan, Jeffrey M. Gilligan and Gary G. Gilligan, 3 nephews: Gary G. Gilligan, Jr., Zackery Gilligan and Dakota Gilligan, 1 great nephew and 3 great nieces.

A Celebration of her life is being planned and will be posted when the date, time and location are determined.
