Born June 13, 1935 in Whitefield, NH, daughter of William and Bernadeane (Roberts) Newton, Sr., she resided in New Durham for 53 years.
She worked hard in several professions and at home all her life. She was a loving, caring mother with the well being of her children always central, as well as a true and and loyal friend to many. She was a gentle soul but had great strength that allowed her to endure many hardships and still remain able to look for the good in everything.
June loved her home, nature and all of it's beauty, animals, sunshine, coffee, Bingo, and yard sales. She also had a beautiful voice and sang on stage and the radio in her youth. She was a gentle soul and devoted to the care and well being of her family. Her biggest prayer and hope was that her children were "ok". She enjoyed making people laugh and said, "Remember the laughter".

Garland, Necia Currier and her partner John Allan, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers: William Newton, Jr. and Wayne Mason.
