Judith Ann Nason 57, of Wakefield died March 16, 2018 after a long battle with renal disease. Born November 8, 1960 in Waltham, Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles and Phyllis (MacArthur) Patriquin. She grew up in Weston, Massachusetts and spent her summers on Pine River Pond at her family camp until meeting her husband of 40 years and starting her own family in the town of Wakefield.
Judy was a Realtor for Century 21 and Assets Realty for many years. Also, former switchboard operator at Huggins Hospital. She was very involved in the community. She was on the Wakefield School Board and Budget Committee for over 30 years as a member and/or a chairperson. She was also the chairperson of the SAU Withdrawal Committee and saw the project through completion. Judy's attention to detail as a budget committee member/tax payer was meticulous. She truly cared about the education of all the Wakefield students.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter whom especially loved her precious grandchildren who called her Nana. Survived by her husband of almost 41 years: Robert A. Nason and their 2 daughters: Amy and husband James Blackwood, Kayla and husband Andrew Pitts, 4 grandchildren: Charlotte and John Blackwood, Wyatt and Brantley Pitts, her mother Phyllis Patriquin, 2 brothers: Kenneth Patriquin and wife Karen, Stephen Patriquin and wife Gail. Also several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville NH. With a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Urn interment will be later in the spring at Lovell Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a Judith A Nason memorial fund is in the process to benefit the Wakefield youth and Wakefield School District.
