Judith Marie Mitchell age 78, of Grove Street passed away March 19, 2021 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born in Worcester, MA on January 2, 1943, the daughter of Albert J. and Evelyn G. Gauvin. She was raised in Ashburnham, MA. Judy has lived in Farmington since 1970, coming from Concord, NH.

Judy retired after 20 years from Davidson Rubber/ Textron in Farmington. She also worked for many local shoe factories.

A lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 7 and the VFW.

Judy enjoyed Holidays, travelling, history buff, looking into history of towns and most importantly spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren. She collected state quarters, red glass, and porcelain dolls.

Survived by her husband of 62 years; James L. Mitchell, Jr., 4 sons; James L. Mitchell, III and fiancée Diane Gallant, Jeffery A. Mitchell and fiancée Mary Chaloux, Jerry P. Mitchell, Joseph A. Mitchell, Sr. and wife Jessica, daughter; Janice A. Markham and husband Glenn, brother; Albert J. Gauvin and wife Martha, 2 sisters; Barbara A. Stewart, Ethel L. Such and husband Jay, several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
