Joyce L. McGlone, age 70, a longtime resident of Farmington, NH, passed away peacefully at Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH on November 4, 2022.

Born February 10, 1952 in Wolfeboro, NH, daughter of Raymond and Arlene Dockham, she was raised in Farmington, NH and resided here for many years.

Joyce had worked at Cabletron and Flextronics, also, a former owner of the Getty Station in Farmington.

A homemaker, she loved to cook, bake, cross stitch, needlepoint, also crocheting hats & mittens for her family and for those in need.  With her companion of 14 years, David Prescott, she enjoyed motorcycling, going out to lunch, especially for seafood and rides in the Slingshot, the "love of her life", he passed away suddenly June 10, 2022.

Joyce had battled with lung disease for years, she was recipient of a double lung transplant.  She fought hard this year, after suffering a fall in February.

She loved her family and friends, survived by her daughter Roberta & husband Sean Packard, son Bernie & wife Veronica McGlone, 3 grandchildren: Gwendolyn McGlone, Alicia Wooten & Hannah McGlone, 3 brothers: Robert Dockham, Steve Dockham & William Dockham, several Nieces & Nephews, stepson: Dennis & wife Kari Theroux & granddaughter Makenzie Prescott, stepson Jeffrey Prescott.

A celebration of life will be held at the Milton Moose Lodge Hall on Sunday. November 20th from 12:00 to 4:00pm.  Urn interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Alton, NH.  Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home, to express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
