Joseph Thomas, age 74, of Swan Lake Trail in Alton, passed away, peacefully, at home, December 23, 2021, with his loving family.

Born June 21, 1947 in Boston, MA, a son of Joseph and Margaret (Driscoll) Thomas, he lived in Roslindale, MA for many years and resided in Alton, NH for  twenty years.

Joseph was retired, a Supervisor, with the Boston Transportation Department.

Joe was avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.  He enjoyed traveling and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.  A handyman, he was "Joe of all trades."

Survived by his wife Lorraine M. (Finley) Thomas, their 2 daughters: Dana Thomas and Lori Ann Thomas, 6 grandchildren: Michael, Sean, & Lauren Ainsley, Jamie Whitehouse, Joseph Thomas & Hunter Callahan, 6 brothers:  Charles & wife Helen Thomas of Natick, MA, Ronald & wife Patricia Thomas of Hanson, MA, Ed Thomas of Mountain View CA, Michael Thomas & partner Denise of Walpole, MA, Ricky Thomas, and Paul Thomas of Lakeville, MA, many Nieces & Nephews, 2 sister in laws:  Debbie McDermott & partner Dalton Johnson, Charlene Grady, a brother in law George Gerard.  Predeceased by sister in laws: Sara Thomas & Pamela Gerard and his brother John "Jack" Thomas, died December 25.
