Jordan Michael
Cantwell
Jun 25, 1982 — Jul 15, 2026
Manchester, NH
Jordan Michael Cantwell of Elm Street died on July 15, 2026, at the age of 44 from
heart disease due to childhood diabetes.
Jordan was born June 25, 1982, in Schenectady, NY to his biologic parents Kelly Ann
Brough and Joseph Nossigf as Jordan Christopher Brough. From the start, Jordan had
a tough life where he spent his young years between family member homes and in the
foster care system. In 1991 at the age of 9, Jordan was featured on the Donahue Show
with other New York children ready for adoption. On November 13 th , 1992, Edward
Daniel Cantwell Jr., and Debra Kay Cantwell (Vail) officially adopted Jordan, changed
his name, and welcomed him into their family.
Jordan had a profound sense of humor with a contagious laughter, was well liked by his
peers, and never seemed to meet a stranger. Even though life was a constant struggle
for him, he tried his hardest to make the best of his situation and was always there to
lend a helping hand to others. Jordan was very artistic and created beautiful artwork he
shared with his family and friends.
For the past 5 years, Jordan spent his time pouring his heart and soul into his music,
trying to make peace with his past, asking for forgiveness, and working hard to be a
better person. Jordan found salvation in God, accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and
was baptized earlier this year.
Jordan is survived by his parents, Edward & Debra Cantwell (Farmington, NH), his
siblings, Ryan (Julie) Cantwell (Perkasie, PA); Sarah Cantwell (Midland, GA); and Emily
(Brandon), Cantwell (Farmington, NH), his 3 children, Shealy, Mica, and Kayla; his
grandson, and his grandparents, Carl Vail (Farmington, NH) and Aleeta & Lyndel
Stewart (Sydney, AR).
Jordan was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all that
knew him. A private celebration of life for Jordan will be held. His family will plant a
Wisteria Tree in his honor and as his last resting place.
