John C. Tibbs, age 66, of Alton Bay, died quietly at home on November 5, 2012.
Born March 23, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of John C. and Dorothy M. (Hunzleman) Tibbs, he resided years in Westford, Massachusetts and resided in Alton Bay since 1992.
A United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was a member of the American Legion in Alton.
John was a Real Estate Broker in the local area, a member of NHAR.
He loved to read and enjoyed socializing with friends at local establishments.
Widower of the late Donna M. (Vedovelli) Tibbs, who died in 2006, he is survived by their two children: John P. and wife Kelly Tibbs of Alton Bay, Dawn and husband Jim Sbordon of Franklin, MA, 5 grandchildren: Olivia and Ava Tibbs, Caitlin, Emma and Ryan Sbordon, his sister Linda Plourde of Connecticut and several nieces.
