John Joseph Radcliffe, Jr. "Jack", age 88 of Milton, NH, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 13, 1934 in South Boston, MA, the son of John Joseph Radcliffe and Margaret (Roach) Radcliffe. He resided in Milton, NH since 2003, having previously resided in Farmington, NH for many years.
Jack was Retired USAF, a career which included overseas deployments in Japan, Spain, England, Thailand, Korea and also stateside including Alaska. He continued his work as a Civil Engineer Supervisor at Pease Air Force Base, until retirement.
A former member of the Farmington Fire Department.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years: Jeanne M. (Larro) Radcliffe and their 8 children: Robin A. Owen, Janice M. Howard, John F. & wife Debbie Radcliffe, Kevin M. Radcliffe & wife Christine E. Peaslee-Radcliffe, Karen M. & husband Wendall Garland, Donna K. & husband James Walsh, Diana K. & husband Martin Proulx, Dale T. & wife Lori Radcliffe, 25 Grandchildren, 34 Great Greatgrandchildren with several on the way, sister in law: Janice Nelson, also many loving Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his brother Thomas Radcliffe and his sister Dorothy Loughlin.
Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11am at St. Peter's Church in Farmington, NH with Fr. Thomas Duston, pastor, as celebrant.
Graveside committal prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, NH, by Fr. Thomas Duston, pastor of St. Peter's Church, with military honors by the United States Air Force, family and friends are welcome.
