John H. Newman, age 92, of Province Lake Road in Wakefield, died quietly at home on January 17, 2015.
Born December 14, 1922 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, the son of Harry J. and Almira J. (Blodgett) Newman. He resided in Wakefield, NH since 1978.
John was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II.
A retired Salesman,he worked for many years with New England Wheel and Rim.
Predeceased by his niece Edresa Randall, he is survived by her husband David E. Randall of Parsonsfield, Maine and their children Katrina Nance and Ivan D. Randall, U.S.Navy, also several great nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held in the spring with interment at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Mass. Arrangements by Peaslee Funeral Home.
