Middleton, New Hampshire:

John T.B. LaMantia, ?JT?, age 18, of Pinkham Road in Middleton, died Tuesday evening, June 19, 2007 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, after a watercraft accident on Sunrise Lake in Middleton.

Born in Exeter on May 1, 1989, he resided in Middleton all of his life.

He was a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 2007, where he was an honor student and outstanding athlete. An avid basketball player, #23, he received the Coach?s Award for basketball. He also had played a couple years of football.

JT was employed at Market Basket in Rochester. He loved the outdoors, living on Sunrise Lake in Middleton. He enjoyed indoor and outdoor sports and was known for his ?bad poker face? while playing Texas Hold?em with his friends. Also he loved food and enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother: Michelle A. LaMantia and step-father: Benjamin Shannon of Middleton, his brother: John E. LaMantia & fiancee? Linda Hughes, his aunts: Melody, Louisa, Evelyn and Debbie, also his girlfriend: Maddie, and many friends. He was loved by everyone, a gracious and graceful young man.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Emmanuel Advent Christian Church on Eastern Avenue in Rochester, NH, there are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to the service. A reception will follow the service at Farmington High School, Thayer Gymnasium, Thayer Drive, Farmington, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Farmington 500 Boys & Girls Club, JT LaMantia Athletic Scholarship Fund, PO Box 404, Farmington, NH 03835.
