Joan Sylvia (Kimball) Huntress "Joani", age 62, of Old Stage Road in Sanbornville, died suddenly, December 3, 2016, after a period of failing health.
Born December 1, 1954 in Rochester, a daughter of John Ward Kimball and Sylvia May (Hill) Kimball, she resided in Sanbornville all of her life.
A homemaker, "she lived her life her way".
Survived by her husband of 30 years: Charles H. Huntress, 2 stepdaughters: Eliza Spring Johnson and Kymbyl Lee Urquhart, 5 granddaughters, her sister: Linda and husband Mike Young, 2 brothers: John W. Kimball, Sr., Mark R. and wife Lisa Kimball, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and a brother Thomas Kimball.
A Memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
