Jeannette G. Donovan, age 105, formerly of Orchard Circle in Farmington, died February 10, 2016 at Hospice in Scarborough, Maine.
Born February 8, 1911 in Plaistow, NH, daughter of Eugene T. and Omelda (Guilmet) Coulombe, she was a longtime resident of Farmington.
In earlier years, she was a shoe stitcher at local shoe factories.
Jeannette enjoyed all her friends at Orchard Circle. She loved gardening flowers and vegetables. In earlier years, she enjoyed cooking, baking and burning wood in the woodstove.
Predeceased by her two sons: William Aiken and Edward Aiken, she is survived by 7 grandchildren: William Aiken, Jr., Sherry Corr, Bruce Aiken, Deborah Gagnon, Alan Aiken, Richard Aiken, Buddy Aiken and many great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12noon at St. Peter's Church, 88 Central Street in Farmington. A calling hour is prior to the service from 10-11:30am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. Interment will be in the spring at Rochester Cemetery.
