IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Earle
Parker
August 25, 1977 – June 28, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jason Parker, who left this world unexpectedly on June 28, 2025, at his favorite place, Silver Lake, Shapleigh, Maine.
Jason had a way of showing up – not just physically, but fully. He went out of his way to say, "How is your day going" or to make you laugh with his unique sense of humor. More than anything, Jason made things better just by being there.
He was an incredibly hard worker who started in the concrete industry while still a teenager, and ultimately owned his own company – Creative Concrete, LLC. Stamped patios were his specialty, and he took great joy in creating custom patios for his clients – at times, surprising them with unexpected personal touches.
Jason enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed teaching kids to share his love for fishing.
Jason was passionate about baseball and played in his youth. He found joy in being a volunteer coach through the Farmington 500 and other various programs where he coached his boys for many years. While coaching, he met the love of his life and best friend Jess Durant. They married and settled into their forever home in early 2020.
After four boys, his daughter, Nokomis Jay was born. He and Nokomis were inseparable, and it was not long before she had him wrapped around his finger. She was his mini-me and was right by his side doing whatever he was doing.
In his seven short years at Silver Lake with Jess, Jason became an integral part of the community – known for his epic Fourth of July fireworks, unforgettable antics at the annual Wiffle Ball tournaments, and for being the life of every campfire, card game, and gathering at the lake.
Jason was predeceased by his brother Hank Parker and is mourned by his beloved wife, Jess; daughter, Nokomis; and sons, Kolby, Kollin, Joseph – who serves as a Torpedoman's Mate Third Class in the U.S. Navy – and Blake. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Carla Parker of Frost Proof, FL; his in-laws, Dudley & Linda Durant of Shapleigh, ME; brothers-in-law, Wayne Durant and Mathew Griffith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially Brian & Emily Varney.
