Janet P. Meagher, age 48, died suddenly, May 20, 2016, at her home in Lowell, MA, after a brief illness. She always thought of Sanbornville, NH as home.
Survived by her parents: Bill and Elaine (Bisson) Meagher of Sanbornville, NH, sister Michelle Meagher and brother in law Christopher Barden and 4 year old nephew Nick of Acton, MA. She also leaves behind many dear cousins and close friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Janet's career was teaching. She loved being a third grade teacher, employed for many years by the Woburn MA School District.
She received her BA from Assumption College in Worcester, MA and her M.Ed. from Rivier College in Nashua, NH.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 26, 2016 at 10am at St. Anthony's Church, Meadow Street, Sanbornville, NH with Fr. Patrick Gilbert, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be at New Town Cemetery in Rollinsford, NH at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Wakefield Food Pantry, PO Box 426, Sanbornville, NH 03872 or: NH Food Bank, 7008 Industrial Park Drive, Manchester, NH 03109, NH Food Bank is a division of NH Catholic Charities.
