Jane Kevorkian
Wingate

Jane Kevorkian Wingate, 79, died April 8, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Born November 11, 1942 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the third of five children of John and Florence Kevorkian.

Her nonfiction essays were known for their wry wit and insightful observations.
A loving friend, wife, and mother, Jane was passionate about politics, reading, classical music, movies, art, and nature. She is survived by her husband of forty years John Wingate, her son David Leary, her daughter-in-law Shannon Whyte, her beloved grandson Nathan Leary, her brother Charles Kevorkian, and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial gathering for Jane later this year. Time and place to be announced.
