Obituary

Farmington, NH

Jane Elizabeth Dore (Boisvert), 77, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She bravely fought an uneven battle with a smile on her face and entered Heaven's Gates on September 16th 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.
Janes life started on the chilly morning of January 19th 1940. She was one of five children born to the late Melvin Tibbetts and Hazel Brown. She enjoyed being on the farm and growing up with her siblings. She spoke quite often of memories that they had shared together. She held a special relationship with each and every one of her siblings that she carried with her throughout her entire life.
Jane worked for close to 40 years as an inspector (along with many other hard earned titles) at Davidson Rubber in Farmington N.H.. When she was not at work she was caring for her 7 beautiful children. She was a devoted mother and took pride in everything she did. She loved to pillow Stitch, collect pictures, and spend every moment with her family and friends. She had a passion for money puzzle scratch tickets and even hit the jackpot a few times on them! Jane was the kind of person who would put her life and responsibilities on hold for her friends and family, no questions asked, and no matter how big or small whatever was needed. She really was one of a kind and is simply irreplaceable. Jane enjoyed listening to her favorite radio station WOKQ 97.5, and loved to sing along. She was a very easy going person and found joy in just about every activity that came her way, especially trying to solve Law & Order episodes before the midpoint!
Jane was predeceased by her son, Donald Boisvert, as well as all of her siblings; Larry, George, Pauline, and Bernice. She was also predeceased by many nieces and nephews.
Jane is survived by her children; Darlene Washburn, Vernon Boisvert, Corinne Boisvert, James Boisvert, Paul Boisvert, and Judith Dubois, all of Rochester N.H. Jane raised her granddaughter Alicia Donnell and they held a vey tight relationship with each other to the very end. She had a very close bond to her granddaughters Kayla Washburn and Jessica Boisvert, who helped provide outstanding care to the very end. She had very close relationships with all her family members in her own special way. She had many grandchildren. Among them, she had special relationships with Rebecca Gagne, Jesse, Brian, and Michael Boisvert. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jane had very special attachments to her great-grandkids Declan, (Alicia's son), Liam (Kayla's son), and Paris (Brian's daughter). Jane had so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that there are just too many names to put on paper, but rest assured she loved all grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they all loved her. She was referred to as Nana and will always be Nana.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover New Hampshire and Constellation Hospice Services in Massachusetts. The care and professionalism they provided Jane and the family with was absolutely outstanding. We could not have asked for a better team to help us take care of her to the very end. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Family and friends are invited to Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington NH for calling hours on Thursday September 21st from 5pm until 7pm, with the service on Friday September 22nd at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover New Hampshire and Constellation Hospice Services in Massachusetts are welcome. We the family firmly believe that instead of flowers Jane would want any and all donations to go to these two places for the kindness and compassion they showed her as a human being.
