Jane P. (Adams) Seale Brisson, age 85, a longtime resident of Farmington, passed away, at her daughter's home in Strafford, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 10, 1928 in Farmington, the daughter of Clarence and Maude (Bradshaw) Adams, she resided in Farmington for most of her life.
Jane retired from Riverside Rest Home, a L.N.A., she also had worked at Rochester Manor and Clipper Home in Wolfeboro. She had worked at several local shoe factories, at Globe Manufacturing in Pittsfield and at the former Davidson Rubber.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Farmington, also the Grange, she enjoyed SkipBo, Bingo, puzzles, reading and trips to the Maine beaches with her father, clamdigging.
Widow of the late William A. Seale and Charles Brisson, she is survived by: 9 children: David Seale, William E. Seale, Robert and wife Doreene Seale, Patricia Seale, Pamela and husband Tim Parker, Carol Seale, Edmund and wife Darlene Seale, Janet and husband Mark Ruest and Arthur Seale, 31 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Charles Seale, a grandson: Matthew Seale, 2 sisters: Martha Hilton and Mabel Lawrence, a brother: Roger Adams.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Rev. Richard Rizzi, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. A calling hour is prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will be in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
