James (Jim) M Smith age 60 of Farmington passed away on March 1st 2023 at home surrounded by family after a long battle with health issues. Born 11/26/1962 in Rochester NH to Raymond and Florence Smith. Jim married Robin L (Devaney) Smith on June 10th 2006 at their home in Farmington NH. He was a General Contractor for over 30 years and worked hard to provide for his family. Jim enjoyed spending time with his brothers, heading to Vermont for auctions and spending weekends with the guys. In more recent years he loved traveling with his wife Robin, especially spending time in Florida enjoying long beach walks as well as watching beach sports at their favorite place, JB's on the Beach,
where they listened to local music while imbibing in a cold beverage. Jim also loved spending time with family and the grandchildren whenever possible.
Jim is survived by spouse Robin L Smith of Farmington NH, Children Christine (Michael) Harvey of Farmington NH, Jonathan Devaney of San Diego CA, Kerri-Ann Devaney of Rochester NH, Jason T Devaney of Waverly VA, Jonathan Grant of Manchester NH,. Grandchildren Michael James Harvey of Farmington NH, Kayla May Harvey of Farmington NH, Sonny Edward Joseph Lozey of Rochester NH and Andrew Michael Harrison of Rochester NH. , Siblings Nancy (Roy) Gale of Groton CT., Bertha Howard of Farmington NH., William Smith of Farmington NH., Ray(Donna) Smith of Rochester NH., Dorothy Parent of Farmington NH., Judy Philbrick of Rochester NH., Bobby(Tammy) Smith of Rochester NH., George(Glorene) Smith of Farmington NH and many Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 11am, Location will be Grace Community Church 57 Wakefield St, Rochester NH 03867 Refreshments will be served following.
