James F. Meader, age 74, of New Durham, died March 5, 2019, at home, after a battle with cancer for two and a half years, with his wife's care and Cornerstone VNA/Hospice.

Born August 13, 1944, he was the son of Norman D. and Dorothy (Shapleigh) Meader of Lebanon, Maine.

He was a Trailer Truck Driver for over fifty years.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Paula A. (Laney) Meader, his daughter Marsha Meader, 2 stepsons: Dale Lavoice and Scott Lavoice and his sister Sarah Shapleigh.  He was loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

As per his request, there will be no services.  Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
