James B. Hunter, age 87, of Orchard Circle in Farmington, passed away, peacefully at home, on February 16, 2023.

Born October 11, 1935 in Milton, NH, a son of Charles and Jennie (Magee) Hunter, he resided in Middleton and Farmington for most of his life.

Prior to retirement, he was employed with the former Davidson Rubber Co., later Textron in Farmington.

Widower of the late Maureen R. (Leighton) Hunter, he is survived by their 6 children:  Frank James Hunter, Rocky J. & wife Darlene D. Hunter, Rosemarie Darlene Hunter, Phillip James Hunter & wife Kimberly, Margaret L. Hunter Sargent & husband Shaun Sargent, Bruce James Hunter & wife Rachel Hunter, 13 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren, also many Nieces and Nephews including Robert Smith.
