James G. Brown, 63, of Middleton NH, born July 6, 1956 in Rochester, NH lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at home.
Jim worked at Diprizio's Garage in Middleton, NH during his high school years & graduated from Farmington High School in 1974. He has been a garbage man, a logger, and done other odd jobs before retiring in 2012 from the State of NH DOT after 30 yrs. of service. He then worked for himself doing what he loved - cutting firewood, plowing snow & going to Keith's garage almost every afternoon to hang out with the guys. He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice racing, dirt racing, & playing horseshoes. He was a mentor to his nephews & friends when it came to hunting, fishing & racing. He enjoyed helping everyone and will be dearly missed by his family, friends & beloved dog Arrow.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Jean A. Merrill Brown, his mother; June Tufts Brown of Middleton NH, 2 children; Kelly Brown Turner (Darcie) & Kendra Brown both of Middleton, NH, his beloved grandchildren, Kierstin Bryant of Dover, NH, Sarah Feyler of Middleton, NH, Lyric Turner of Middleton, NH, & Tyler Albers-Bryant of Milton, NH; his siblings; William Brown of Milton, NH, Natalie Yancey of New Durham, NH, Wanda Mills (Darold) of Farmington, NH, Wendell Brown of Middleton, NH, & Louie Brooks of Union, NH, his aunt Priscilla Kimball of Middleton, NH, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hunter Education Program through NH Fish and Game or to your favorite charity.
