Obituary

Howard Theodore Hobbs, 64, of Nottingham, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2024. Born on September 19, 1959, he was the beloved son of Howard and Violet (Kimball) Hobbs and the cherished grandson of Marion Kimball. Raised in Sanbornville, Howie had a lifelong fondness for visiting the Poor People's Pub. Howie's middle name, Theodore, honored the legendary Ted Williams of the Boston Red Sox. Howie had a passion for old trucks, peanut butter cups, the Three Stooges, and Hogan's Heroes. He was charming, funny, and a natural conversationalist who loved engaging with people and asking all sorts of questions.

He is survived by his Aunt Judy Adjutant, who could always make him smile, his sister and brother-in-law, Holly and Duane Shaffer; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Greg Covell, brother-in-law, Rick Fogg; and his nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Ashley, Jeremy, Joe and Brandyn. He will also be dearly missed by his special friends, Tina Lincoln and Dottie Bennett; his home providers, Binod Ghimire and Ajia Karki; and his Community Partners family. He was predeceased by his brother, Harley Hobbs, and his home provider, Bonnie Schoff.

A celebration of Howie's life will be held on June 23rd at 1:00 pm at Spring Hill, 117 Pond Road, South Berwick, Maine. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Partners Foundation in memory of Howie Hobbs. https://communitypartnersnh.org/donate/ .
