Helen E. Morin, age 83, formerly of Farmington, died September 4, 2017 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, where she resided the past sixteen years.
Born August 8, 1934 in New Hampton, daughter of Stanley and Cleoria (Walker) Robinson, she resided for years in Newburgh, New York and had resided in Farmington since 1976, until having to move to Riverside Rest Home.
A loving homemaker and mother, she enjoyed cruises, especially to Alaska and visiting the Grand Canyon. She was active at RRH with Yahtzee, Bingo, crafts and trips, a member of the Red Hat Society there. She enjoyed shopping and eating good food.
Widow of the late Carmen Battista and Roland Morin, she is survived by her 4 daughters: Louise and husband Brian Osborn, Ruth and husband Jon Russell, Anita and husband Stephen Lachance, Linda and husband Leo Roy, her son: Carmin and wife Kim Battista, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Dorothy VonFricken, a brother Maurice Robinson, also several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Rest Home for her care all these years.
Calling hours are Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary's Church on Lowell Street in Rochester. Interment will follow at New Riverside Cemetery in Alton.
