Helen Correia passed away after a prolonged illness on Friday, January 10th. She was born in Norfolk MA on December 16,1948 to Elizabeth Deptula and Peter Alexander Deptula. She later moved to Farmington NH with her husband and children where she resided until her passing.
She is survived by her siblings Rosemary Brite of Woonsocket RI, Elizabeth Toothaker of Norfolk MA, her children Jason Correia of Rhode Island, Robbie Correia of Dover New Hampshire, Steven Correia of Farmington NH, and Kristen Correia of Cape Coral fl. Her grandchildren include Samantha Tobyne, Haley Gordon, Courtney Gordon, Nicholas Correia, and Emma Correia. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Correia and two brothers Pete Deptula, and Mike Deptula.
She enjoyed horses, jigsaw puzzles, reading, playing cards with her family, and" dirty" Monopoly with her grandchildren. She worked at the Rochester manor as an LNA for over 30 years and always put a smile on her patient's faces. She was a gifted cook and made a Polish Babka bread that was well sought after every Thanksgiving. At the request of Helen, there will be no services.
