Hazel M. Mabey, age 91, of Dick Dame Lane in Farmington, died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 2, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 4, 1927 in Ogunquit, Maine, a daughter of Chester E. and Marjorie (Welch) Hilton, she resided for years in Kittery Point and Kittery, Maine and lived in Farmington, NH for over 50 years.

A loving homemaker and mother, she loved to play BINGO.  A former member of the Farmington Woman's Club, Hazel was a "social butterfly", she loved to go out to eat with family and friends.

Widow of the late James C. Mabey, she is survived by her 4 children: Gary Blake, Gail and husband Ronald LaPointe, Brenda and husband Brian Page, James H. and wife Penney Mabey, 6 grandchildren: Brian, Michael, Michelle, Chad, Josh and Sasha, 10 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by 4 siblings: Chester Hilton, Martin Hilton, Laura Howes and Eva Blake and grandson: C.J. Sowards.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am, with urn interment at Pine Grove Cemetery.
