Harry E. Blair, age 86, of Cross Wind Lane in Rochester, died March 7, 2011 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born December 18, 1924 in Laconia, the son of Harry A. and Amelia (Clifford) Blair, he resided in Rochester since 1997, having previously resided in Milton for most of his life.

A United States Army Veteran, he served during World War II.

Harry was self employed for many years in retail, having owned and operated a variety of businesses, including the former Blair's Ski-Doo of Milton. An auctioneer as well, he enjoyed attending auctions.

He was a member of the American Legion in Milton. Harry loved hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed dancing with his wife.

Survived by his wife of 57 years Margaret W. Blair and 3 nephews: Alfred, David and Gene Blair, also many cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Alfred Blair and nephew Leon Blair.
