Harland A. "Harley" Lamper, age 74, of Alton, NH, died, quietly at home on August 28, 2023.

Born January 6, 1949 in Wolfeboro, NH, son of George F. Lamper, Sr. and Virginia E. (Swett) Lamper, he was a lifelong resident of Alton, NH.

He was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

Prior to retirement, Harley was employed for 37 years with ART in Laconia, NH.

Harley loved fishing, hiking, music, his family, staying home and also "dingle" rides in the afternoon with his sister Ginny.

Married to Merrianne (Piper) "Cookie" Lamper, for 54 years, she passed in 2020, he is survived by their two children:  Glenn & wife Sharon Lamper of Alton, Amy & husband Scott Pettis of Farmington & granddaughter Shannon Pettis, sister Ginny Caverly, brother Fred & wife Cindy Lamper, also several Nieces and Nephews.  Predeceased by grandson Brett Lamper, brother George Lamper, brother in law Mike Caverly, who passed away on the same date August 28, 2023,  also his dog "Taja".
