Gregory A. Columbia age 63, of East Wakefield, NH, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Born on January 27, 1960 in Washington, PA, Greg was the son of Marlene J. Columbia and the late William L. Columbia.

Greg grew up in Burgettstown, PA and graduated from Burgettstown Area High School in 1978 with vocational training in welding. He became a Lineman and has been a member of I.B.E.W. Local 104 in Boston, MA since 1981. In 2004 he began working for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority as a 1st Class Line repairer until leaving in 2018 due to illness.

When away from work, Greg enjoyed fishing, boating, antique muscle cars and traveling, especially to Costa Rica.

Along with his father, Greg is predeceased in death by his beloved brother, Robert Columbia and stepson Ryan W. Smith.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pamela Columbia of 32 years, grandchildren, Kendal, Isaiah, Talen, Noah, and Rion, nieces Lindy and Kalina, several co-workers and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday September 30, 2023 from 10am – 11am, with a service at 11am, at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington. Following the service, friends and family are invited for a gathering at Kelly's Row in Somersworth, NH.
