Gray C. Morgan 74 of Milton NH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Gray is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, MaryJane (Gibson) Morgan, a brother, Robert G. Morgan and his wife Rowan, of Jonesborough TN, and a sister, Janice M. Skiver of Greensborough NC. Gray also leaves a brother-in –law, Eric N. Gibson and his wife Kristen B. Gibson of Lee NH., and a sister-in-law, Jennifer P. Gibson of Rochester NH.  Gray enjoyed many dear friends including; Debbie Muller of Rochester NH, Tammy Spinney of Dover NH, and Deborah Meridith of Liberty NC.  Gray was predeceased by his brother-in-law Alan R. Gibson of Rochester NH.  Gray was blessed with 10 nieces and nephews.

Gray enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. As a young man he would take to the field at every opportunity to hunt, explore, and study nature.  Later in life, he enjoyed canoeing, biking, and even tried motorcycling with his wife. Gray was passionate about living history and reenactments of the colonial era with a focus on the French and Indian wars time period.  He enjoyed attending rendezvous and frequent trips to Fort at No. 4 near Claremont NH.

Gray graduated from the Colorado School of Trades in Colorado where he learned the art of gun smithing with a focus on classical black-powder long arms. After graduating he worked at Colonial Williamsburg as the gunsmith. Gray went to Wastewater Treatment Operator School in South Portland ME, working for municipalities in Wells, ME, as well as Portsmouth and Durham NH.  Later Gray attended McIntosh College in Dover NH where he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science.   Prior to retirement Gray worked at Thompson Center Arms, in Rochester NH.

Gray had a passion for animals, often in his life he would opt for giving a good home to a dog that needed the love and attention that he could provide. He and his wife MJ opened their hearts and home to many adored canines over the years.

A Celebration of Gray's Life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10am at Nute Ridge Bible Chapel, 99 Nutes Road, Milton, NH 03851 with Pastor Bob Walsh Officiating. A reception to follow in the Church Hall.
