Grace E. Tripp, "Mom", "G-Ma", "Grammy" age 80, of Farmington, NH, died October 25, 2024 at her home at Orchard Circle, after battling breast cancer for 31 years.
Born July 26, 1944 in Derry, NH, daughter of Armand Cournoyer & Etta (Gilman) Ford, she married the late Earl L. Tripp, Sr. on September 16, 1967, they resided in Farmington, NH for 46 years.
Grace worked at Alton Shoe for many years, then she went to work for Colby Footwear. She loved playing Bingo and going to Old Sports (dancing club).
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Earl L. Tripp, Sr. and their son Earl L. Tripp, Jr., her sisters: Mary Call & Helen Gregoire, her brothers: Alex Cournoyer & Paul Cournoyer.
Survived by her 2 daughters: Linda D. Tripp & Rick of Middleton, Earleen E. Tripp & Ron of Farmington, 6 grandchildren: Frank Ridley, Jr., Tara Ridley & Tom of Vermont, Sheena Ridley & Zack, Crystal Page & Peter, Zachary Page, Justin Page, 14 great grandchildren, sisters: Waneta Hoyt & Mattie (Doubois) Poulin, nieces and nephews: Billie (Patch) Peters & Dennis, Shonluke Peters, Montana Peters, Kyra Patch and many more.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am, family and friends are welcome. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover, NH. Also, a Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday November 16, at 12Noon at Old Middleton Town Hall, 200 King's Highway, Middleton, NH 03887.
